Ernest P. Lisenby

Ernest P. Lisenby, 85, of Opp, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003 in an Opp hospital.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 18, 2003 at 3 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2003 at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include his son, Jimmy D. Williams of Andalusia, daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Tom Knowles of Red Level; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Max and Euna Lisenby of Opp; brother, Rev. Floyd Lisenby of Minden, La.; two grandchildren, Ricky Knowles and Marilyn Davis; four great-grandchildren, Shonda Knowles, Summer Knowles, Heather Davis and Brittany Davis.

Mr. Ernest P. Lisenby was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Lisenby.

Joe Pat Traywick

Joe Pat Traywick, 70, of Andalusia, died Monday, April 14, 2003 in a Pensacola hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2003 at the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow inAndalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Traywick is survived by his wife Peggy Josey Traywick of Andalusia; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Pat and Betsy Traywick of Pensacola, Fla., Bill and Brenda Traywick of Dothan, Mike and Christie Traywick of Tuskegee; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Paul Bozeman of Andalusia; four granddaughters, Sarah, Rachel, Jennifer and Heather; great-grandson, Cameron; brother, James (Barbara) Traywick of Birmingham; one niece and four nephews.

Pallbearers will be Pat Traywick, Bill Traywick, Mike Traywick, James Traywick, Paul Bozeman and Bob Carter. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Young, Gordon Vickers, Joe Wagner, Marvin Walker, Herb Carlisle, Men Spiritual Fellowship Breakfast Group.

Mr. Traywick was a retired Master Sergeant of the U.S. Army with 21 years of service and a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War. Mr. Traywick was also retired from the City of Andalusia Utilities Department as superintendent with 20 years of service. He was a member of the Men's Spiritual Fellowship Breakfast Group.
