Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Herrington Nelson, 72, of Red Level, died Sun., Nov. 22, 2009, at the Andalusia Hospital.
Funeral services were held Tues., Nov. 24, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Boles officiating. Burial followed in Carolina Cemetery
Survivors include her husband, Myron Nelson, of Red Level; her sons and daughters-in-law, Myron and Jody Nelson Jr. of Salem, Ala., and Michael and Elsie Nelson of Andalusia; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Kashawna) Nelson, Amanda Giordano, Joshua Nelson and Kelly Nelson; six great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Willard and Betty Herrington of Pace, Fla.; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and John Little of Andalusia, Barbara Fowler of Andalusia and Shirley and Bobby Barbaree of Pace, Fla.
Pallbearers were Tony Little, Timmy Fowler, Jeremy Nelson, Joshua Nelson, Delwyn Mills and John Little.
