Sitel filled the 70 temporary positions needed by Monday, but now, they need 30 more.

The call went out for employees needed to handle inbound customer service calls for a national cable company a week ago. The company has increased its demand

“And that’s good news for us,” said Brandy Miller, Sitel site director, Tuesday.

Miller said the company is seeking those who are “dependable, customer service oriented with great people skills” for the three-week program.

“These are customer service positions, and would be great for anyone who has basic computer skills,” Miller said. “As long as you can log onto a computer, use a mouse and send an email, you have the technical skills we need. We can train you to do the rest.”

Miller said pay is $7.50 per hour, plus a 50-cent per hour bonus for working all scheduled hours during this program.

One can apply online at sitel.com or at the office located on U.S. Hwy. 84.

Miller said the three-week session is a great opportunity for those who many not be sure about the Sitel work environment

“If you come here and like it, it could turn into a permanent position since we’re always hiring for permanent positions,” she said.

Currently, Sitel has eight different clients that use their in-bound call center in Sanford.
