The "Factory of Terror" fundraiser is open once again.

The “Factory of Terror” fundraiser is open once again.

The screams of frightened folk will once again echo through the “Factory of Terror” as the Paxton Dixie Youth League hosts its annual haunted house fundraiser.

Property owner and dedicated volunteer Linda Russell said tours will be conducted every Friday and Saturday night this month, as well as on Halloween night. Shows begin at 7 p.m.

“The inside of the factory is great,” Russell said. “You will be amazed, and we hope scared out of your wits, by the time you make it all the way through.”

Russell said funds raised by the event benefit youth sports in a number of ways.

“We use this money in many different ways,” Russell said. “It pays for trips to tournaments, improvements to the park and anything else the league may need for play.”

The League draws players from Florala, Paxton, Fla., Laurel Hill, Fla., and all over – just as the League hopes the decked-out factory will draw those wanting to be scared from all points in between.

Admission is $5 for children 12 and under and $7 for adults.
