Ms. Diane Howell and Mr. Jack Dickert Jr. along with Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Howell, all of Andalusia,  announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katie, to Jake Poole, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Frazier of Deatsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Poole of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Louise Thomas Shaver, William  Shaver, Benton Howell and Auburn and Pearl Howell Bryan all of Andalusia.

Katie is a 2005 graduate of Andalusia High School, and a 2010 graduate of Auburn University where she majored in physical education. She is employed with Andalusia City Schools, and is the owner of Andalusia  Dance, Tumbling and Cheer.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Bonita Kelley and the late Joe Kelley and Mrs. Doris Poole, and the late Paul Poole all of Andalusia.
Jake is a 2005 graduate of Waverly High School in Waverly, Neb..

He attended Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kan., on a bull-riding scholarship. He currently farms in the Pleasant Home and surrounding areas.

The wedding will take place June 21, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Bethany Baptist Church in Andalusia.

Invitations have been sent, but all friends and family are invited.
