GEORGE EARL CASTLEBERRY

Mr. George Earl Castleberry of Enterprise passed away on Tues., May 26, 2015, at Medical Center Enterprise. He was 78.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow, Fri., May 29, 2015, at Meadowlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Huey Anderson officiating. Burial will follow with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 5-7.

George was born on Oct. 28, 1936, in Covington County, to the late Eddie Lee and Daisey South Castleberry. He was an avid Alabama fan and loved all Alabama sports.

Survivors include a daughter, Anne Krug of Tallahassee, Fla.; a son, Thomas Dwight Capps of New Brockton; five sisters, Delma Jeter of Haines City, Fla., Zelma Bennett of Red Level, Erma Nell Patterson of Red Level, Maybelle Williams of Andalusia and Rosie Lee of Clanton; and a grandchild, Karen D.C. Anderson (Jamey W.).
