First Baptist Church has opened next week’s music camp to the public.

Students who have completed first through sixth grades may participate in the week-long camp, set for 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., Mon. through Fri., July 17-21.

Camp participants will sing and learn the musical, “Unselfie,” about a group of kids who learn of a brand-new app called Unselfie. The app lets you take pictures of yourself but only allows you to post if the motive behind it is unselfish.

In additionl to learning the upbeat music and drama, students will have special devotions each day and crafts, recreation and much more.

Registration is $50, and each child will be responsible for his lunch and drink each day.

A performance is planned for 6 p.m. Friday.
