Andalusia Junior High School’s incoming classes got the opportunity to see their new school and meet their teachers for the news school year on Thursday night.

Andalusia High School principal Dr. Daniel Shakespeare and vice principal Victoria Anderson addressed the parents and students about what to expect this year and what is expected out of them as they enter this new chapter in their lives.

One item that needed to be addressed was the drop-off and pick-up routes that parents must use each day.

“Car riders will need to be dropped off and picked up by entering from Henderson Street,” School resource officer Jackie Woods said. “They will come up that way, pull around to drop off and pick up and then they need to exit the same direction. This is out of safety for the students and the drivers.”
