The Opp Bobcats (4-3, 4-1) look to wrap up home-field advantage for the first round of the playoffs tonight when they travel to Geneva to take on the Panthers (5-2, 3-2).

Opp comes into the game with a two-game win streak after knocking off region opponents Slocomb and Providence Christian.

After getting shutout twice in the first three weeks of the season, the Bobcats offense has found momentum, as they have scored at least 30 points in the three of the last four games.

Opp is currently tied for first place in the region with Wicksburg, but Wicksburg holds the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Bobcats.

A win this week, or next week against Daleville, would secure a playoff spot for the Bobcats, but losses to a few other teams could also put Opp in the playoffs.

Opp has scored 139 points this season and given up 182 points.

Opp has been led this year by senior athlete Reggie Thompson. Thompson has thrown for 621 yards and four touchdowns, rushed for 373 yards with two touchdowns and has 192 yards receiving with three touchdowns.

Running backs Ashton Patel and Decarmeyen Hines have been big in the Bobcat back field.

Patel has 288 yards and five touchdowns. Hines has 286 yards and four touchdowns.

Geneva comes into the game with one-game losing streak after falling to Daleville 40-27 last week.

The Panthers are also hunting for a playoff spot in the tightly contested region.

Geneva has scored 135 points this season and given up 99 points.

Kickoff between Opp and Geneva will be at 7 p.m., tonight in Geneva.
