Marjorie Vivian Blackmon

Mrs. Marjorie Vivian Blackmon, age, 75, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018, in Dothan.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, July 13, from Philadelphia Baptist Church with Brother Ed Ganus officiating. The family will visit with friends after the service until 6:30 p.m. at the church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda Jean and Wayne Worrel of Andalusia; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dan and D.J. Fowler of Hendersonville, N.C., Albert and Judy Griggs of Andalusia, and David O. and Ruby Griggs of Andalusia; and sister, Jeanette Lawrence of Gulf Shores.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Blackmon, and sister, Lorine Grant.

Mr. Danny Troy Scofield, age, 61, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018, in Mobile.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 13, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Garrett Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Carolina Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., today, Thursday, at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Deb Scofield of Andalusia; daughters and sons-in-law, Melony Sheree and Alan Smith, Jessica and Travis Golden, and Nichole and Josh Hoffman all of Andalusia; sons and daughters-in-law, Jonathon and Rachel Williams of Bowling Green, Ken., and Nicholas and Shelby Williams of Andalusia; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Mike Wambles of Andalusia.

Steven Pinckard

Mr. Steven Pinckard, age 61, of Andalusia, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Troy Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 14, from Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Brantley with Brother P.J. McClung and Brother Jason Pinckard officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Brantley. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the church.

He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye and Byron Hartin of Red Level, Judy Pinckard of Montgomery, Donna and P.J. McClung of Andalusia, Cherry and Billy Armour of Luverne, and Cathy Pinckard of Montgomery; brother and sister-in-law, Snow and Julie Pinckard of Troy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Sybil Pinckard, and brothers, James M. “Mac” Pinckard, Willie Pinckard, and David Pinckard.
