Bulldogs fight hard, fall to Troy

The Andalusia Junior Varsity Bulldogs took an early lead, but Charles Henderson came charging back to pick up a 52-37 win.

Andalusia got the first points of the game with jumper from Isiah Brundidge.

Josh Gurley then came up with a steal that he turned into a layup to give the Bulldogs a 4-0 lead.

A quick bucket from Jake Wilson had the Bulldogs on top 6-0, but Charles Henderson battled back to go up 7-6 at the end of the first period.

The Trojans went up 9-6 to start the second period, but then a 3-pointer from Bryan McCorvey tied the game.

Both teams continued to battle, but Charles Henderson was up 18-17 heading into halftime.

In the third period, Charles Henderson turned up the scoring and went up 45-22 heading into the final frame.

The Trojans were then able to hold on for a 52-37 victory.

Brundidge led the Bulldogs with 10 points.
