Covington County Sheriff, Blake Turman, is pleased to announce the addition of video visitation for inmates incarcerated within the Covington County Jail.

Simply go to the website at www.InmateSales.com , and log into the system.

Once on the website, people will need to go to the visitation screen and follow instructions from there. The access for inmates will be the first letter of their first name and their full last name. Their date of birth will be the password. Once in the system, the inmate may change his/her password.

“Currently, on sight visitation is closed due to the COVID pandemic,” Covington County Sheriff Blake Turman said. “However, the off-sight video visitation will be open effective 9 a.m., to 9 p.m., 29 January 2021. This will be seven days per week. Video visitation will cost the same as a phone call and is convenient for the inmates and their loved ones.  This opens communication for the inmates and their families.  I encourage folks to visit their loved ones and stay in touch.”
