Florala Police Chief Sonny Bedsole said employees of the Wachovia Bank branch that was robbed last week looked at surveillance video from a similar Flomaton bank robbery that occurred Monday and said they believe the same couple pulled both heists.

The two suspects, described as a couple in their 20s, went to two different tellers in Flomaton just before closing time on Monday. Each presented a note demanding money. They fled the scene in an older model, two-toned, full-size Chevrolet pickup truck, Flomaton Police Chief Terri Tolbert said.

A couple fitting the same description and using the same method robbed the Florala Wachovia branch last Thursday.
