AHS 9th-grade Bulldogs win, 47-35

After sitting around and waiting for more than one hour for the late-arriving Charles Henderson Trojans, the Andalusia High School freshmen basketball team whipped the visitors by a final score of 47-35.

Justin Sims paced the Bulldogs with 21 points in the win.

Garrett Berry also reached double figures in scoring with 11 points.

D'Andre Wright hit for 8 points in the win. Marquaus Byrd had 3 points. Malcolm Jenkins and Shawn Feagin scored 2 points each.

The freshman Bulldogs play again on Monday, Dec. 15 when they host the T.R. Miller Tigers. The game is set to begin at 5 p.m.

It will be the final game of

the season for the freshmen squad.

The B-team and varsity basketball squads from Andalusia High School host the T.R. Miller Tigers today.

The B-team game tips off the action at 4:30 p.m. followed by the varsity girls' game and the varsity boys' game.
