The 2003 Andalusia youth Basketball League is holding registration through Nov. 14 at the Johnson Park office.

Registration is open to girls and boys ages 5-14 (as of Sept. 1, 2003).

There is a $25 registration fee for ages 7-14 and no fee for children ages 5 and 6 with new "clinic style" basketball for the five- and six-year-old participants.

Request for scholarships must be submitted by Nov. 14.

There is an Andalusia Youth Sports drop-off box at Johnson Park. Guardians are asked to submit registration form and registration fee in an envelope in the drop-off box.

Tryouts will be held Thursday, Nov. 20 at the John Park Gymnasium beginning at 5:30 p.m. for girls ages 7-14 and boys ages 7-8. Tryouts for boys ages 9-12 will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tryouts for boys ages 13-14 will be held beginning at 7:30 p.m.
