The Babe Ruth baseball team from Valley that won the 2003

Babe Ruth Southeastern Regional title in Andalusia, after winning a state title, begins play in the Babe Ruth World Series next Saturday night.

The Valley squad plays in the final game of the day when the players take the field against the host team from Williston, N.D. at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16.

The 2003 Babe Ruth World Series continues through Saturday, Aug. 23 with the Championship Game set for 1 p.m.
