Thomas E. Smith

Thomas E. Smith, 51, of Andalusia died Monday, July 7, 2003 in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Smith of Andalusia; three sons, Thomas E. Smith Jr., Tony Lee Smith, Rusty Shane Smith all of Andalusia; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Debbie Smith of Elba; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Dianne Duncan of Opp, Susan and Travis Nunn, Cindy and Randy Eddins, Tammie Hill, all of Elba, one half-sister, Ann Anderson of Columbus, Ga.; grandmother, Eva Mae Smith of Elba.

Pallbearers included Johnny McVay, Joey McVay, David McVay, Sandy McVay, Sandy McVay Jr., Hubert McVay, Marvin McGinnis and Ken Bule.

Vonnie Lee Prestwood

Graveside services for Vonnie Lee Prestwood will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2003 at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with visitation one hour prior to the services at Keahey Funeral Home. Keahey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two brothers, Billy Prestwood of Ohio and Tom Prestwood of Pensacola, Fla. She was the beloved aunt of Tricia Light, Johnny Cross, Larry Jeter, Tommie Lois Prestwood, Bill Hayes, Tom Hayes, Evelyn Cornwell, Melissa Prestwood, David Prestwood, and Rosemary Prestwood. Other survivors include her aunt, Gertrude Jones, and one uncle, Earl Shears.

Thomas Castleberry

Rev. Thomas Castleberry, 69, of Red Level died Monday, July 7, 2003 at his residence.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2003 at Keahey Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. Special music was provided by Rev. Randy Kelley and pianist, Sharon Kelley.

Survivors include his wife, Caudy Fay Castleberry of Red Level; one son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Sharon Castleberry, Red Level; brothers, Rev. J.T. Castleberry of Carolina community; Wallace Castleberry of Andalusia; Douglas Castleberry of Straughn community, Jerry Wayne Castleberry of Bolivar, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Tonya Castleberry, Latrell Castleberry, Donna Bowman, Lori Bush, Sheryl Cook, Jamie Salter; great-grandchildren, Derrick, Shannon, Ashley, Christopher, Kurtis, Trey and Maddison.

Pallbearers included Ronnie Maddox, Ronnie Edson, B.J. Cook, Junior Curry, Jamie Salter and Bruce Castleberry.

Marcus Michael (Mike) Nolen

Marcus Michael (Mike) Nolen, 43, died Tuesday, July 8, 2003 in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2003 at Keahey Funeral Home. The family will receive from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2003 at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Nolen of Red Level; mother, Betty Nolen of Dothan; father, Marcus Dewayne Nolen of Red Level; son, Brad Nolen of Dothan; two step-stons, Chase Taylor of Red Level; Lance Taylor of Red Level; mother of Brad Nolen, Cathy McKenzie of Dothan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Bonita Merritt Nolen of Red Level; Ricky and Debbie Nolen of Dothan; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Wayne Morris of Dothan; nieces, Tanisha Nolen and Sara Nolen; nephews, Ryan Morris, Private 1st Class,

of Dothan, Chase Nolen of Andalusia; Nicholas Nolen of Dothan, Matthew Nolen of Dothan; step nieces and nephews, Brandi Nolen, Tori Merritt, Erica Folmar, Danny Folmar, Courtney Ivey and Trey Hughes; mother-in-law, Rhonda Patterson.

Mr. Marcus Michael (Mike) Nolen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rusaw and Bessie Nolen; maternal grandparents, James and Edith Dreading.

Michael Turner Linzey

Michael Turner Linzey, 40, formerly of Andalusia and Selma, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2003 in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Britton

officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aaron and Sara Linzey, Clarence Dailey and his step grandparents, J.M. and Maudie Kendrick.

Survivors include mother, Dorothy (Ricky) Smith; stepfather, Gordon Kendrick; daughter, Elizabeth Nicole Linzey; brother, Darrell Kindrick; step brothers, Paul Kenrick, Bobby Kendrick, Dean Smith; step sister, Dawn Bowles; half sister, Gina Faircloth, grandmother, Margaret Dailey; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include Scott Duncin, Mark Daniels, Mike McDowell, Virgle Elos, Charlie Warren, Dean Smmith, Bart Bowles and Darrell Smith.
