Youth softball scores reported

The members of the Shockers youth softball team continue to live up to their name with three wins in recent action at Johnson Park.

The Shockers topped the Super Stars 19-6. The Shockers followed with an 18-7 win against the Tigers. Kayla Keel, Stephanie Bracewell, Katie Bass, Erin Byrd, Kimberly Teel and Emily Ricks each scored two runs in the victory.

The Shockers followed the win against the Tigers with a victory against the Slammers. Erin Byrd, Danielle Maddox and E. King scored two runs each in the win against the Slammers.

In other action, the Eagles earned a 13-6 win against the Storm. Erin and Katy W. scored three runs each in the win. Molly C. added two runs.

The Eagles, however, dropped its next two games. The eagles fell to the Slammerz by a final score of 18-11. Watts, Stokes, Daniels, Bass and Alverson each scored two runs for the Slammerz in the win.

The Dixie also got a win against the Eagles in recent games at Johnson Park. The Dixie outscored the eagles 11-5 for the win. Morgan C. and Lexie K. each scored two runs in the win.

The Hot Styx also got a win against a flock of Eagles by a final score of 12-3. Alexandra, Lyndsey, Ellie and Erica scored two runs each in the win.

The Tigers scratched out two wins in recent games. The Tigers clawed out 18 runs for an 18-11 win against the Road Runners. Alexa scored three runs in the win.

The Tigers also recorded a win against the Hot Styx by a final score of 17-13. Mandi and Tori B. each scored three runs for the Tigers in the victory.

In other action, the Avalanche topped the Firestix by a final score of 7-5. H. Bush scored two runs in the win.
