Are you looking for an opportunity to do some meaningful Christmas shopping that can make a difference in the world?

During the month of November, gifts from the Holy Land will be on sale at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 1307 East Three Notch St.

Purchases of these olive wood and Mother-of-pearl items, crafted by Palestinian Christians in Bethlehem, help provide income for these workers and their families. Also, 25 percent of all sales will be donated to the American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem.

Items can be viewed and orders placed on Sunday mornings after worship at St. Mary’s; on Tues., Nov. 27, from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.; or by appointment. Orders will be available for pick-up around Dec. 10. The church office can be reached at 222-2487 for questions or to make an appointment to see the items.
