LBWCC swept Enterprise State in a conference doubleheader Wednesday afternoon.

The Saints won 10-5, 10-3 and starts a three-game series against Bishop State today in Mobile.

In the 10-5 win, Zach Ward of Andalusia hit a home run and batted in three runners; Roquel “Rock” Marsh went 2-for-5; Brandon Mayhann went 2-for-4; Conner Smith went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs; Trey Matherson went 2-for-4; Mason Rogers went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs; and Dusty Jones went 1-for-3 to lead LBWCC.

Chance Calloway threw a complete game striking out five and allowed three earned runs on seven hits to record the win.

In game two, Brandon Pugh and Mayhann went 3-for-4 each; Matherson and Rogers went 2-for-4 each; and Blake Grill and Ward had one hit each.

The Saints scored two runs each in the third and fourth, three runs in the fifth, two runs in the sixth and one run in the seventh.

Kade Suther struck out five batters and allowed two earned runs on four hits.
