Winter camp meeting set at West Highland Assembly

West Highland Assembly of God will host five pastors for its winter camp meeting that begins this Sunday.

West Highland Pastor Eddie Gossett will open the camp meeting with the morning service at 10:30 a.m. on Sun., Feb. 22. Gossett has preached revivals and camp meetings in 41 states and 20 foreign countries. In his 28 years in the ministry, he has been both a missionary and a pastor.

Pastor Travis Bittle will lead the evening service at 5. In his 44 years in the ministry, Bittle has been an evangelist, youth pastor and minister of music. At present, is is pastor of First Assembly of God in Tallassee.

Pastor Robert Hamilton will preach at 7 p.m. on Mon., Feb. 23. Hamilton has been a missionary, pastor and seminar speaker in his more than 40 years in the ministry. He also is a certified behavioral consultant. At present, he and his wife, Martha, are the pastors of Evangel Assembly of God in Dothan.

Pastor Ken Johnson will speak at 7 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 24. Johnson has been a Bible college professor and currently is on staff at West Florida College. He and his wife, Vicki, are the lead pastors of East Side Assembly of God in Pensacola.

Javetta Saunders will turn the emphasis to women on at 7 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 25. Saunders is an accomplished author, instrumentalist, vocalist and recording artist. She is a frequent guest on national religious television programs, including the 700 Club.

The church is located at 1502 River Falls Street or half mile west of JCPenney.
