LBW drops 2 to Wallace-Dothan

LBWCC dropped two games to Wallace-Dothan this weekend in conference baseball action in Dothan.

 

In game one, the Governors downed the Saints 4-3. The game was tied 3-3 going into the bottom of the eighth inning before the Governors drove in the go-ahead run off Saints’ starting pitcher Jordan Tharpe.

 

Tharpe threw eight innings and picked up three strikeouts in the loss.

 

Michael Mims picked up the Saints’ only RBI of the first game.

 

In game two, the Saints fell 9-4.

 

Tyler Johnson had two RBIs in the loss, and Charlie Spencer and Matthew Harvey added on RBI each.
