The American Legion Auxilary — Unit 80 will host Poppy Day today.

Citizens may honor the sacrifices and contribute to veterans’ neeeds at Walmart, Winn-Dixie and Veterans Memorial Park as the members of the Auxiliary distribute bright red poppies.

In Opp, a Memorial Day ceremony will be held at 10 a.m., at Peaceful Aces Memorial Gardens, on Monday.

Additionally, they will place flags on graves on Sunday.
