Pleasant Home got back to its winning ways Monday night, as the Eagles defeated Bethlehem (Fla.) 54-34.

Pleasant Home was coming off its showing at the Andalusia Invitational, where it was 1-2 in games against much larger schools.

“We were balanced and we shot the ball well,” Pleasant Home coach Jerry Davis said. “We played a pretty good basketball game. It makes a difference to play against bodies such as your own.”

Leading scorers for the Eagles were Kody Taylor with 12 points and Ethan King with 11.

Pleasant Home will travel and play Samson Friday night. Play starts at 4:30 p.m. with the B-team boys.
