Aspiring young football players between the ages of 6-12 will be able to learn from the best at the second annual Andalusia Youth League football camp this Saturday at Andalusia High School.
The camp will be held on the football field and three freshman players from the University of Alabama will be speaking at the camp.
Former Andalusia linebacker Nico Johnson, as well as Foley’s D.J. Fluker and Escambia (Pensacola, Fla.) High School’s Trent Richardson will join the camp and offer advice to the participants.
“It’s a camp we put on every year with the football league,” AYL board member Michael Jackson said. “We invite all the county and city Termite players to attend.”
The camp will last from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday and registration costs $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. The registration fee includes a free t-shirt; snacks will be provided.
