Florala suffered its second region loss Friday night to Brantley, losing 55-0 in Florala.

Florala coach Stan Gooden said, “the big plays really killed us.”

“We didn’t do well at all,” he said. “We’ve just got to go back next week and turn things around. Our whole program is disappointed.

“We played two really great quality teams back to back,” he said. “We’re just going to come back and try to build up confidence and try to find the positives over the weekend to be able to go back to work on Monday.”

The Wildcats (1-2, 0-2 in Class 1A, Region 2) will travel to play Kinston next Friday night.

“We’ve got to redirect and get our attitude adjusted and believe we can go out there and do some positive things for next week,” Gooden said.

Gooden said offensively, the team advanced the ball well.

“We moved the ball well tonight,” he said. “We did a lot better than we did last week.”
