Red Level falls to Millry, 45-6

Millry defeated Red Level Friday night in region play, 45-6.

In the opening quarter, Millry took the opening kick off and marched 54 yards on five plays and scored on a 9-yard touchdown pass at the 10:15 mark in the first.

After a three-and-out by Red Level, Millry took the ball and advanced down the field and scored on an 8-yard touchdown run with 8:00 left in the first quarter. The extra point was good.

After a fumble by Red Level, Millry took the ball and scored inside of the 2:00 mark on a 4-yard touchdown run. The extra point was no good, which put Millry at a 20-0 lead at end of first quarter.

In the second half, Red Level’s Trey Salter took the opening kickoff and ran it back 75 yards for a touchdown. The following 2-point conversion was no good.

Millry then took the ball to inside the 10-yard line on its next possession.

Red Level held on downs and forced a fumble inside the 5-yard line that was recovered by Salter.

Red Level could not get a first down and was forced to punt. The punt was blocked by Millry and they scored two plays later on a 6-yard touchdown pass.

Following another Red Level turnover, Millry scored on a 16-yard touchdown pass with 1:16 to go in the third quarter to make it 32-6.

In the fourth quarter, Millry scored two additional touchdowns.

One on a turnover from Red Level, which resulted in a 30-yard touchdown pass at the 8:51 mark in the fourth quarter.

After Red Level turned over on downs with less than 2 minutes to go, Millry scored on a 58-yard touchdown run with 25 seconds left in the game. PAT was good for a 45-6 game.
