The Opp Bobcats lost to Daleville Tuesday night, 52-46.

Opp coach Ronnie Sansom said the game was in Daleville’s court after his team’s first possession.

“We scored the first basket of the game and didn’t lead after that,” he said.

Sansom said his team did not take advantage of opportunities.

“We had chance to cut into their lead,” he said. “We didn’t shoot the ball real well again. We had some lapses in transition defense that cost us.”

Gavin Free led with 21 points.

In girls action, the Lady Bobcats beat Daleville, 66-35.
