Red Level’s James Feagin led his team with 19 points and 11 rebounds Tuesday night to help lift the Tigers over Highland Home, 60-44.

Red Level led 14-10 after the first quarter and 29-27 at halftime. Highland Home kept the pressure on the host team, keeping the score close throughout the third quarter.

The Tigers led the Flying Squadron 41-37 entering the fourth quarter. Red Level added 19 points compared to Highland Home’s seven to get the win.

“In the fourth quarter we were able to get a few buckets to go for us,” Red Level coach Fred Kelley said. “These guys just didn’t want to get beat at home and wanted to play for the championship.

“Flomaton is in our area and there could be a tie-breaker factor involved in that,” he said.

Troy Nolen and Nick Dorsey also finished in double figures for the Tigers. Nolen had 12 and Dorsey had 10.

Red Level will play Flomaton tonight at 7:30 in the championship game.
