The Andalusia junior varsity softball team ended up 1-2 at the 2010 Enterprise Classic tournament last weekend.

In pool play, the Lady Bulldogs improved to 8-5 after they defeated Opp 10-3, but lost to Enterprise 8-0.

Andalusia lost to Foley in the single elimination portion of the tournament 7-3.

The Lady Bulldogs scored two runs in the first inning on RBI singles from Kenna Edmondson and Emily Terry.

Jessica Park came home on the RBI single from Edmondson, and Edmondson scored on the RBI single from Terry.

Andalusia’s last run of the game came in the fourth on a sacrifice fly from Greeley Foshee to score Andi Hughes.

Foley scored two runs in the first inning and five runs in the sixth.

Edmondson, Shelby Nixon, Terry and Kristin Evans all scored in the first to take a 4-0 lead over the Lady Bobcats.

In the second inning, Andalusia’s Kelsea Ramirez, Park, Edmondson, Whitney Lanier and Foshee all scored for the Lady Bulldogs.

Andalusia’s last run came in the fourth by Nixon.

Opp scored one run in the third inning and two in the fifth.
