Fight night has come back to Andalusia.

Saturday night, the “365 MMA Club” of Andalusia will host its second fight, starting at 7:30 at the Kiwanis Building next to the Covington Center Arena. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

In January, the club held its first fight night, and co-founder and fight night referee David Daugherty said it was a success.

“We had a very good crowd come in,” he said. “The people that we rented the cage from said they were real impressed with the facility we had for the fights.”

General admission to the fight is $20 per person, and $35 for ringside seats. Children 12 and under get in free.

Daugherty said there will be 10-15 full-contact fights on the fight card with three three-minute rounds. Each fighter will be split up in different weight classifications and the weigh-ins will take place Friday night at Beef O’ Brady’s at 9 p.m.

“If it lasts that long, it takes a while, but if somebody taps out, it might end a lot quicker,” Daugherty said. “We don’t want them running past midnight. So, we’re trying to limit the fights to within that time limit.”

Some fights on the card include, Clay Stacks fighting Correy Slaton; Willie Styles fighting Danny Meeks; Justin Doster fighting Brad Gibson; Jonathan White fighting Alex Chapman; and Brock Moore fighting Daniel Parker, to name a few.

In addition, the Andalusia Animal Shelter will offer pets for adoption at the fight.

The “365 MMA Club” gym is located at 107 East Pass Road in Andalusia beside Southern Linc, and Cash and Carry.
