Dominators beat Eagles

Before the rain stopped play in Babe Ruth softball action Tuesday night at Johnson Park, the Dominators held a 5-4 lead over the Eagles in the 10-and-under league; the Heartbreakers were winning over Red Level 6-0 in the 8-and-under league; and the Lady Devil Dogs were beating the SWAT 6-0 in the 12-and-under league.

Dominators 5, Eagles 4

The Dominators scored two runs in the first inning and three in the second inning before inclement weather caused the game to stop.

Tori Richardson scored two runs; Meg Turner scored one run; Jamie Blue scored one run; and Britny Hurst scored one run for the Dominators.

For the Eagles, Davis, Turman and Knoll all scored one run each.

In other 10-and-under action, the Dominators beat 2xTreme 6-5 on May 14.

Heartbreakers 6, Red Level 0

The Heartbreakers scored four runs in the first inning before the game was stopped due to inclement weather Tuesday night.

Brooke Mancil scored two runs; Daniel Slighter scored one run; Sydney Ray scored one run; Beth Mitchell scored one run; and Breanna Cooper scored one run for the Heartbreakers.

In other action, Red Level beat the Eagles-Schwartz 11-6; and the Eagles-Garner beat the Tigers-Glidewell 8-1 Monday night.

Lady Devil Dogs 6, SWAT 0

Hannah Barker, Alyssa Barnes, Tori Cleghorn, Ivey Beam, Jasmine Parks and Megan Tolbert scored one run each for the Lady Devil Dogs before the game was stopped due to inclement weather.

In other 12-and-under action, the Pleasant Home Eagles beat Straughn-Adams 8-2 Monday night.
