Braves beat Twins

The Braves defeated the Twins 7-5 Monday night in Babe Ruth baseball action at Johnson Park.
The Braves struck out first in the first inning when Williams hit an RBI single to score Walker.
Then, the Twins added two runs in the second inning when Wood and Veasey scored.
The Twins added one run in the third inning, but the Braves pulled away scoring three runs in the third and two runs in the fourth inning.
In the third inning, the Braves scored their runs on one error, one sac fly and one walk.
The two runs in the fourth inning were scored when Cobb and Underfinger scored on a single from Walker.
Nolen scored the last run for the Braves in the fifth on an error.
The Twins scored one run in the fifth and one in the seventh.
For the Braves, Walker scored two runs; Nolen scored one run; Cook scored one run; Underfinger scored one run; Conner scored one run; and Throghmorton scored one run.
Owens scored one run; Watson scored two runs; Wood scored one run; and Veasey scored one run for the Twins.
