The Opp Lady Bobcats pulled out a 60-49 win over Elba on Tuesday night, and improved to 3-1 on the season.

“I think we played pretty well,” OHS girls coach Allison Gregory said. “One of our starters — Nisha Stoudemire — was out. Soyia (Folmar) and Laiken (Free) really stepped up and had big games. I was real proud of the guards (Tuesday night).”

In addition, Gregory commended Asia Edwards on her play, noting her many rebounds and defensive effort.

“All around, we had a great team effort,” Gregory said. “Elba has a great team. It was good to get everybody playing for us.”

The Lady Bobcats will travel to play Red Level tonight, and will play host to rival Andalusia on Friday night.
