Three Red Level players finished in double figures on Friday night to help lead the Tigers to a 67-33 win over Florala.
Nick Dorsey and James Feagin led the Tigers with 14 points each, and Troy Nolen had 11 in the win.
Red Level led 12-3 at the end of the first period, and 32-11 at half time.
RLS coach Allen Catrett said the key in the win was “defensive pressure.”
“We were able to apply the kind of defensive pressue that we like to set,” Catrett said. “We set the tempo of the game at the level we wanted it at. We had a much better inside game offensively than what we’ve been having.”
The Tigers went on to outscore the Wildcats 18-9 in the third period, and 15-13 in the fourth period.
Dee Tolbert also had a good night for Red Level with nine points. K.J. Lawrence, Raheem Bullock and Justin Maddox all added five points each for the Tigers. O.J. McGee and Preston Ryce chipped in two points each.
Red Level improves to 6-5 on the season, and will play host to Straughn next Tues., Dec. 21.
