Bulldogs advance to regional finals

MOBILE — Andalusia beat Escambia County 59-57 today to advance to its third straight Class 4A South Regional final at the University of South Alabama’s Mitchell Center.
The Bulldogs held on late after essential free throws from Justin Dooley and Derrick King.
Andalusia (31-2) will play former area foe Hillcrest-Evergreen Saturday at 5:20 p.m. in the finals.
In girls action, Andalusia fell to UMS-Wright 50-35.
