Jantzen Flowers struck out five and allowed five hits in four innings.

Thomas Weed and Trey Short were 2-for-3 each; and T.J. Register was 2-for-4.

Dane Buckelew came in to relieve Flowers and struck out five.

The Bobcats (17-7, 3-0 in Class 3A, Area 2) will travel to play Geneva Friday night.

If Opp wins the first game, then it will win the area series. If the Bobcats lose, then a third game will be played to determine the regular season area series winner.
