Bobcats beat Brantley

Opp beat Brantley in a baseball varsity and junior varsity sweep Monday night.
The Bobcats won the varsity game 6-5, and beat the Bulldogs 12-5 in the junior varsity game.
Jantzen Flowers earned the win for the Bobcats on the mound for the varsity team.
Drew Smith was 2-for-2; Trey Short was 2-for-4; Russell Mosley was 1-for-1; and T.J. Register was 1-for-4.
Short got the save for the Bobcats.
In the junior varsity game, Brady Jowers pitched four innings, and Dilan Ziglar pitched one inning.
Dane Buckelew was 3-for-4; Mosley was 3-for-4; Register was 1-for-2 with a home run; and Jowers was 1-for-3.
The varsity team improves to 21-10 overall, and will travel to play Rehobeth next Mon., April 18 in a doubleheader, which begins at 4 p.m.
