Opp ended its season Monday night, falling to Rehobeth 11-1 in five innings.

The Bobcats managed three hits during the game, where Rehobeth scored two runs in the first inning, two runs in the second inning, one run in the third inning, one run in the fourth inning and five runs in the fifth inning.

Opp scored its only run in the second inning.

The Bobcats finished the 2011 season with a 23-11 record, and has recorded 47 total wins in the last two seasons.

“It was just unfortunate that these seniors went out with this record and didn’t make the playoffs,” Opp head baseball coach Michael Cassady said. “Even though we didn’t make the playoffs, these seniors need to hold their heads up.

“Winning 47 games in the last two years is a big accomplishment,” he said.

Dane Buckelew pitched less than an inning, T.J. Bess and Jantzen Flowers pitched more than two innings each, and Drew Smith pitched one inning.
