Opp’s Lady Bobcats put the game out of reach early Monday night, and beat Pike County 16-1 in a regular season area match up.

Winning pitcher Kourtnee Bradley gave up one hit in a complete five-inning performance for the Lady Bobcats.

“Kourtnee did a good job for us,” Opp head softball coach Jimmy Reeves said. “She came in and pitched a good game. The girls did a good job scoring early to put the game out of reach.”

The Lady Bobcats scored four runs in the first inning, six runs in the second inning, three runs each in the third and fourth innings in the win.

Opp (18-14, 2-1 in Class 3A, Area 2) was led by Laiken Free and Erica Ladson behind the plate.
