Andalusia’s golf team finished tied for second place Tuesday at the Class 4A, Section 1 golf tournament in Mobile.

The Bulldogs shot a 331, the same score as St. James, and advance to the sub-state round next Monday in Sylacauga.

Grayson Gantt was the low man for Andalusia with a 77.

“We pulled together after the front nine (holes), and held on,” AHS golf coach Marshall Locke said. “It was wire-to-wire between us and St. James.”

UMS-Wright won the tournament with a 312.

The first tee time next Monday is set for 8 a.m.
