Andy girls fall to Lady Rams

Headland’s Kathryn Drew hit two home runs to help lead the Lady Rams to a 10-3 area win over Andalusia Tuesday night.
Drew hit her first home run in the first inning on a two-run shot. Her second came in the second inning, and was also a two-run homer.
Headland took a 5-0 lead in the third inning when it scored one run.
The Lady Rams added three runs in the sixth inning.
Andalusia got on board in the fifth inning when Jessica Park hit an inside-the-park home run.
The Lady Bulldogs’ second run came in the sixth inning on an RBI double that scored courtesy runner Greeley Foshee.
Andalusia scored its last run in the seventh on another inside-the-park home run by Emily Terry.
Park was 1-for-4 with one run; and Terry was 1-for-3 with one run for the Lady Bulldogs.
Olivia Dixon struck out two, and allowed 10 runs on 12 hits in the loss.
Andalusia finished as the No. 3 seed in its area, whereas Headland is No. 4.
