13-15 Yankees rout Tigers

The Yankees scored eight runs in the fourth inning, and beat the Tigers 18-2 in five innings Tuesday night in Babe Ruth 13-to-15-year-old action at Andalusia High School.

Scoring six runs in the first inning, the Yankees took the early lead and never let up.

Henderson struck out seven in five innings to get the win for the Yankees.

John Graham was 3-for-5; Hunter Earnest was 4-for-5; Smith, Henderson and Johnson were 3-for-4 each; Colton Elmore was 4-for-4; and Ashton Elmore was 4-for-4 with a home run for the Yankees.

For the tigers, J. Perdue was 2-for-3; and H. Carpenter was 2-for-2.

The Tigers scored one run each in the third inning and fifth inning.
