Zion Chapel scored eight runs in the first inning, and beat the Blue Jays 11-1 Monday night in 13-to-15-year-old Babe Ruth action at Andalusia High School.

The Blue Jays scored their only run in the first inning when Taylor Messick scored on an RBI single.

Zion Chapel went on to score one run in the third inning and added two runs in the fourth inning to seal the win.

Messick was 1-for-3.

In the first game of the night, the Yankees beat the Rangers 2-1.
