LBWCC assistant baseball coach Brandon Ware said the third annual All-American baseball camp was a great success.

“It turned out pretty good,” Ware said. “We had 20 kids come out, which is a good number for us.”

Ware said the campers were put through three half-days of hitting, infield, outfield, base running and pitching drills.

At the end of the day, the kids would split up into two teams to play a game.

“We were covering all of the fundamentals,” Ware said. “It wasn’t too detailed due to their age level.”

Ware said there were about seven kids ages 7-9, and the remainders were ages 10-12.

“They had a lot of fun,” Ware said. “It was hot, but we made it through.”

Ware said he is already looking forward to the fourth annual All-American baseball camp, after the annual winter camp in February.
