The South Alabama 12-and-under softball All-Stars will compete in the Alabama Recreation and Parks Association girls state fastpitch tournament this weekend in Fort Payne.

The double elimination tournament will run from July 15-17, and South Alabama will compete against Fort Payne, Heflin, Centre, Piedmont, Collinsville, Russellville and Cleburne County for the state title.

Andalusia’s team will kick things off on Saturday morning at 9 against the winner of the Piedmont-Collinsville game.

The championship games will begin at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday.
