ANDALUSIA — South Alabama and Lodi, Calif. picked up wins this morning at the 2011 Babe Ruth 12U Softball World Series.

The host team beat American Division second place finisher Hazlet, N.J. 7-1, while Lodi defeated National Division second place finisher Fern Creek, Ky. 7-5.

South Alabama will play Othello, Wash. tonight at 5:30 on field No. 3. Lodi will play Oviedo, Fla. at 5:30 on field No. 1.
