AHS alumni win again

Andalusia’s alumni have won again.

The veterans of Andalusia High School beat the players 32-15 Thursday night in the AHS Hall of Fame game at the high school stadium.

Before the game began, members of the 1947 team that will be inducted into the HOF were introduced, as well as a few select former team members that will also be inducted.

With this win, the alumni remain undefeated against the players with a 7-0 record.

The players scored first when Lakelyus “Fathead” Adams caught a reception for a touchdown with more than 17 minutes left in the first half.

Alumnus Michael Berry caught the first reception for the alumni to even the score at 6-6 after the extra point attempt.

The alumni surged to a 30-6 lead in the second half on a Leslie James TD reception with 17:15 to go.

Tyler Raines caught deflected pass to cut into the alumni’s lead at 30-15.
