The Andalusia Ballet Association’s inaugural 5K Run/Walk went off without a hitch on Saturday, organizer Shan Burkhardt said.
“It went really well,” she said. “It was hot, but everybody seemed to enjoy it. We were just hoping to get 50 runners, but we had 52. So, we met our goal.”
Burkhardt said there will definitely be another 5K next year.
“There was a lot of support from the community, and that’s what we were counting on,” she said.
