Does your little girl dream of being a cheerleader?

If so, the annual Andalusia High School cheer clinic may be “right up her alley.”

The clinic is open to all girls who are potty trained and older who want to attend.

Participants will learn AHS cheers as well as a dance that will be performed before kickoff of the Oct. 14 game against Ashford.

They will also have the opportunity to cheer with the AHS cheerleaders during the first quarter, sponsor Charlotte Calhoun said.

The event will be held Sat., Oct. 1 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Andalusia Elementary School gym.

Registration forms are available at the AES and AHS offices.

Pre-registration is $25, or $30 the morning of the clinic.

The deadline for pre-registration is 3 p.m. Fri., Sept. 30.

The fee includes a T-shirt, which will promote breast cancer awareness.

The cheerleaders have adopted the game as their breast cancer awareness game, and everyone is encouraged to wear pink in support of “Andy for the Cure.”
